Clear The Air II

Nicki sat in the doctor's office after having a pain in her stomach for a week. Safaree sat next to her rubbing it. Only two weeks before Alana's due date and she felt like she was going in labor. He was trying to soothe her through the pain, but nothing was getting to her besides the pain. Alana please be good for mommy. Nicki thought as the pain now increased and her voice came from deep down letting out a long scream.

"Dr. Santiaga, Mrs. Samuels needs a room now. I think she's in labor."

"You think?"

She shouted back coming down the long hallway. As the nurse helped Nicki to her feet, her water broke and a contraction hit soon after. The nurse swiftly placed her gloved hand between Nicki's legs and realized that it wasn't her water that had just broke, it was piss. She swiftly moved over to Safaree and then stepped back rushing to the doctor. Nicki was already in full labor with Alana's head coming through as she stood. Safaree picked her up and carried her through the hall after the nurse.

"Faree, what's going on? Is Alana okay?"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm in pain, but that's it's what's going on with Alana?"

She asked voice shaking now. It wasn't Alana with the problem, but Nicki. They placed her in a room and hooked her up. Dr. Santiaga walked in with four nurses behind her. Nicki was laid out exhausted as the pain died down for a few seconds before starting up again. She sat up and let out a painful scream that caused the room to suddenly stop. Safaree looked at the horrific look on her face and noticed she looked washed out. The doctor noticed too.

"Call Onika's primary care physician and Summer."

"Yo, what's going on?"

"We're about to prep Onika for delivery now! I'll show you as soon as we get her legs up and open and her monitor on. The monitor you hear now is Alana's."

"It's fast."

"Because Onika is panicking."

"Do you want..."

"Try to, get her to stay calm.. She has been in labor what looks like three days."

"THREE DAYS?"

"As long as she didn't push or reach ten centimeters, she wasn't going to deliver."

He went over to a tired Nicki and began calmly talking to her. He spoke to her about their future plans and how beautiful Alana will be. As he talked Alana's heart beat slowed down and the doctors were ready for her to deliver. She looked down then back up at Safaree, who smiled then kissed her deeply. She smiled then pushed hard as her doctor had told her. 

Safaree sat next to Nicki, who was holding their six pound baby in her arms as she breast fed her. She was the most beautiful being that they had seen. Her eyes were shut tight as she sucked pure life out of her mom. Nicki looked up at him and smiled at the dried tears on his face. 

"She's beautiful like you."

"Awwww."

Was all she could muster without crying. Nicki had caught an infection sometime during the week, so the doctors had to treat her for that and keep Alana from swallowing any fluids around her face as she came out. They successfully treated the minor infection and delivering Alana, naturally. She looked down into her child's pretty face and smiled.

"Alana Mei Samuels, our pretty baby girl, is here Faree!"

She stated excitement in her small voice so she wouldn't disturb her. Safaree kissed her then kissed Alana's small forehead full of hair. She stopped eating then started again. Nicki smiled them laid her head on Safaree's shoulder.

[One Week]

Alana lay screaming at the top of her little lungs alerting her happy parents that she was in need of something. Nicki and Safaree both entered the room as they looked around for bottles and a diaper just incase. Alana never cried unless hungry or wet. When they looked in the bed, she had her thumb in her mouth. Nicki pulled it out and replaced it with her nipple. Alana latched on and began drinking as Safaree went for a warmer bottle. He passed it over to her, but she shook her head no. He shrugged then left out to open the now buzzing doorbell. He looked out the peephole, but there was no-one there. He pulled the door open cautiously with his bebe gun and pointed it out the door when a cry broke him from his protective stance. He looked down to see a pair of beady light browns and his face in small form. He pushed the toy bat off the doorbell and handed it to the little boy, who instantly stop crying. The little boy sat on a blanket staring up at him. He picked the boy up and there was a note placed neatly in his back pocket. He pulled it out then grabbed the boy's toys and bag. He placed the things on the floor as he carried him to the bedroom where Nicki sat on the bed burping Alana. She sat up as she watched Safaree place the little boy on the bed and he stared over at Nicki. 

"Who is that?"

"Lloyd."

"Lloyd?"

"Akinu Lloyd Samuels."

"What? Safaree answer me."

"My son, Draya dropped him off with this note."

Nicki placed Alana in the crib then walked over to see what he was reading. Nicki read it as Safaree sat in a daze not knowing what to do next. Nicki frowned then wrapped her arms around his neck and sat on his lap facing him. She pecked his lips repeatedly until he pecked back. He frowned then looked back to see Akinu standing on the side of the bed over Alana's crib staring down at her as his curls fell over his eyes.

"I can't believe she just dropped him off, he's a baby for crying out loud."

"She said she can't look at him without seeing me."

"I know, but she'll just have to get over it. So what are we going to do about him?"

"What you mean? I'm going to raise my son."

"Oh."

Nicki answered sadly going back over to Alana. Akinu placed his small hand between the crib rails and poked Alana's small tummy then smiled a toothless smile as she squirmed then turned on her side. He frowned deeply then began crying. Nicki rolled her eyes as Safaree came over and craddled him tightly in his arms. She rubbed Alana's stomach then stared up into Safaree's loving eyes as he soothed a whimpering Akinu.

"Father of the Year."

"Nicki?"

"Whatever, me and Alana are going to the guest room so you and your "son" can bond."

She stated sarcastically before picking Alana up and walking out the bedroom. He shook his head and followed behind her as made her way to the guest room and laid down with Alana next her. He laid down beside them with Akinu and Alana next to each other. He reached over and touched her warm face as she stared at him not blinking.

"She isn't coming back to get him?"

"Don't seem like it, but does it matter?"

"It kind of does. We already have our hands full with Alana.."

"It's two of us.."

"We're about to both go back to work tho. Then who will be watching them?"

"We could hire a baby sitter or..."

"No."

"Why not?"

"I don't need another woman around my man or my home. Raising my daughter."

"Okay, your mom and my mom? They'll love it and you trust them."

"I don't want to be a burden on their lives."

"Well, Nic.. With our careers going back to full speed what do you want to do?"

"Slow down, take care of this.. We can always do business from home."

"Alright, well he's staying until Draya comes to get him."

"Fine, but we're getting rid of the guest room."

"Why?"

"He needs his own space."

She stated pushing off the bed and looking over the two sleeping babies. He watched as her eyes jumped from one to the other then finally landing on him. She smirked then crawled over them and straddled his lap.

"They look just like you when they're sleep. Stretched out and needing a body to cuddle."

"That right?"

"Accurate and true."

She smiled laying down on him with her head facing the little bodies next to them. They both were stretched out with one hand in their hair and the other next to their face as they faced each other. Nicki lifted her phone to take a picture and posted it on IG. She laid it down and fell asleep on her husband.

Nicki pushed the double stroller in front of her as Safaree held on to the single stroller that had all their shopping gifts in them. She had talked him into taking all three of them on a shopping spree. She even picked up some stuff for him, but didn't let him see it as she slipped it in her clothes. Akinu needed new clothes and Alana just got extra stuff that Nicki wouldn't part with and pouted over hundred times in three hours to get her way. 

"I'm a go in the shoe store, get them some shoes and a pair of slip ins."

"Slip ons, Faree and neither of them are walking."

"So, it's..."

"No. You just want to get you some shoes."

"So? It's my money."

"Our money and don't be an ass about your little money."

"Little? Oh.."

"Yes, little."

She stated with a smirked. She squealed as he walked up on her and pulled her close. He put his lips on her neck and sucked on it. She moaned giving into his display of affection. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled. He pulled away and pushed her back towards the shoe store. She held on to the stroller as she backed up with a big smile on her face.

"Faree, stop."

"What I do? Big Money?"

"I said no and I have a big ass hickey on my neck!" She complained looking in the reflection of her phone screen. "Akinu.."

Akinu looked back over the side of the stroller and furrowed his eyebrows like Safaree after she called his name. She pointed to the spot on her neck then pointed to Safaree.

"Get daddy."

"Dadda"

Safaree looked towards Akinu, who had his little fist up then aimed it towards his father. They both bust out laughing at the silent threat he did everytime Nicki told on Safaree. And he was good on his threats too. As soon as he got the chance he'd go after him. He sat back as quickly as he came.

"I can't believe you taught him that son."

"You gone learn, play boy."

She smirked leaning her body into the back of the stroller then pushing forward towards the kid's footlocker. She glanced over her shoulder as she heard Safaree smack his lips.

"You said you're getting shoes for them."

"Yeah, Yeah."

"Nicki!"

They both turned to see Candi and Lauren walking up behind them. Nicki hadn't spoken to Candi in over a month and didn't care to. She quickly turned away and continued on her route to the shoe store. Safaree followed suite as they entered into the store, Candi walked over and blocked Nicki's way. He frowned deeply as Nicki looked away from her and down into the stroller.

"You never let me come see her, she's beautiful."

"Thanks and you know why."

"Nicki, he shouldn't come.."

"Candi, it's not about him, fuck him. You! Tore our friendship apart by pursuing my ex. I would never."

"You didn't want him."

"And I don't want you as a friend."

"Over a guy?"

"If you think it's over him, then we obviously were never friends. Now, my family and I have shopping to do. Goodbye."

"Nicki.."

"You can run behind her Lauren."

Nicki pushed the stroller around them and continued shopping as if nothing happen. Candi stood staring at her in disbelief. She ignored it as she pulled on Safaree's shirt and pointed to the pink and white shoes for Alana.

Akinu waddled over towards Nicki as she cleaned up Alana's poop diaper. She looked up and he held out a bag of cookies to her. She smiled and pushed him down onto the pillow palet they had laid out on the floor. He giggled then stood up and grabbed her shirt and pulled himself up. In the two months, he's been there, they taught him how to walk and to signal when he wanted or needed something until he could fully speak.

"Dadda, Ma?"

"Yes, baby, go get em'."

She said egging him on. He fastly waddled over to the door as Safaree stepped inside the house. He looked exhausted, but instantly a smile came through seeing his son's happy face as he held up his arms to his dad. He picked him up and walked into the direction that he pointed. He knew exactly where to go and who he was going to.

"Mama!"

"Hi, Babe."

"Wassup?"

"You look tired, do you want to rest before this Sunday dinner?"

"Nah, let's go. I can go up to the guest room and me and Lani can take a nap."

"Okay, what about Akinu?"

"He hasn't taken his?"

"No, he told me no and been up since then."

"Akinu."

"Huh?"

"Nap."

"Dadda."

"What did your Ma say?"

He laid his head on his dad's shoulder and closed his eyes. Nicki laughed quietly to herself as he pretended to be sleep then popped his head back up. He smiled at Nicki, who smiled back and was met with a glare from Safaree.

"That's why he don't take his naps."

"He's so sweet and he doesn't get into anything."

"Whatever, you argue his defense all the time."

"Faree!"

She whined as she picked Alana up and handed her over to him. He smiled big at his little girl, who's light browns stared down at him as he held her over his head and kissed her jaws that were big and soft. Akinu clapped then grabbed Nicki's boob and squeezed. She pulled him back and stared into his goofy face. She frowned deeply as Safaree laughed at the look on her face. 

"That's not funny, it hurt. Asshole."

"He doesn't do anything."

He mocked as he walked out the door, grabbing the babies' bags and Nicki's purse. He pulled the door open then shouted back into the house.

"Get your shoes Nic and grab the bottles."

"I got them."

Safaree woke up next to a sleeping Akinu and Alana. He picked Alana up and placed her comfortably in the crib then picked up Akinu and laid him on the other side inside the crib. He looked down and put a blockage between them then left out the guest room. He crept slowly down the stairs towards the voices that he figured were in the living room. He stepped on the last step then turned back towards the kitchen. He picked up his pace and stepped inside the kitchen. He smiled seeing Nicki leaned against the sink with a smirk on her face. He walked over to her and leaned into her body. She put her chin into his chest and looked up at him.

"Finally, Sleeping Beauty."

"Whatever yo. Opening up a shop in just two months is tiring."

"You have a shop in BK. I don't know why you want one in Upstate?"

"More business, More money."

"Whatever, kisses."

"Nah, these lips only for Alana."

"I'll fight my own child for you."

She laughed wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling herself up. He lifted her up on the counter and they began to make out. He instantly got hard as the kiss intensified and Nicki's soft hand wrapped around his shaft. She tugged then squeezed.

"Onika and Safaree."

Safaree looked back to see Jelani and his wife staring at them. Nicki laughed pulling her hand out of his pants. He went soft as quickly as he had gotten hard.

"That's why you guys got Alana now."

"He seduced me, I just wanted a kiss."

"I seduced you? Alright."

He chuckled then leaned into her and whispered in her ear. "Wash your hands." She smirked then put two of her fingers in her mouth and wrapped her lips around them sexually and smirked as she pulled them out. He turned away and walked out the kitchen quickly. Jelani shook his head as she leaned over the sink and washed her hands.

"What?"

"My little sis is a freak. Who made you like this?"

"Safaree.."

"My bro is a good guy, don't blame him for your sins."

They both cracked up as she jumped down from the counter and followed him into livingroom. Nicki immediately felt annoyed seeing Candi with Wayne as she approached the room. She swiftly avoided them both and sat on the other side not looking in their direction. Safaree came in the room and motioned for her to follow him. She sighed of relief and quickly ran up behind him. He let her go ahead of him as they went to the guest room.

"Nic."

"Daddy?"

"Go up the stairs yo."

He chuckled trying to keep his focus as she rubbed her back side against his front. She stopped and pulled him close and whined into him slow. He sucked in a breath and closed his eyes as she continued to seduce him and his penis was at attention. "That didn't stop us in high school."

"Nic, that was years ago and an accident."

"Sleeping with me was accident? So you getting in my bed and screwing me until the morning while my parents were gone was an accident."

She stated feeling some ways about what he said. She picked up Alana and then let Akinu latch on to her. Alana stared into the side of her face with her little eyebrows furrowed still in a sleepy state. She walked over to the bed and got in laying Akinu down then pulled out her boob and let Alana grab tight of it and began feeding her face. Safaree got up and changed into his sweats and a blue T-shirt. He got in next to her and looked over to see Akinu sleep on her thigh. Safaree got up following behind her, but turned around and pulled some pillows from the top and placed them around Alana and Akinu. He turned and followed where he saw her go. She finger waved him over to her father's den. He followed her down the stairs, she pushed open a side door and he crotched down and into the space. She closed it back and pushed him towards the wall. She lifted her shirt over her head then pushed her skirt to the floor.

"What is this?"

"Safe room."

She answered pulling down his pants as he stared around the room that had a camera for most of the house in it. He lifted his arms for her to take off his shirt. She turned around and leaned back against and stared at the screen where their kids lay sleeping still. He grabbed her swollen breast and massaged them. Nicki turned and pulled him down on her as they fore played. They hadn't had sex since Alana's birth and Akinu made it an even more distance activity since he wouldn't sleep in his own bed without Safaree, so Nicki stayed up plenty of nights aching for him, but when he got back all he did was go to sleep.

Dinner was finally being served at eight around the same time as Alana's last feeding, so Nicki sat at the table eating and feeding her baby. Safaree sat feeding Akinu pieces of Mac&Cheese as he talked across the table to Jelani and Robert.

"You and Nic been sleeping a lot, kids wearing you down?"

"We enjoy them, work is the problem."

"You back working again?"

"Yeah, just a little travel from home to the city, but that's about it. Nicki been getting some more designs for her maternity collection.."

"The cutest designs.. I'm starting a little girls line too, but it's a Mommy and Mini Her line. Dress the little girls to match like their mother."

"So you and Alana are going to be twins?"

"Yes, Mommy's baby will be."

"Nicki can I speak with you?"

Nicki rolled her eyes at Wayne's interruption. She didn't acknowledge them the entire night and didn't plan to until her mother spoke up.

"Onika, stop ignoring that man."

"What do you want?"

"Alone.."

"Anything you have to say, you can say it right now or it's not important."

"Onika."

"Mommy."

She stated not looking her way. Carol shook her head.

"I'm sorry about this."

"You aren't and neither is she and I don't know why you worthless ass people are here. You guys are no family of mine."

"Onika!"

"Nicki, I'm sorry.. I can't help who I fall in love with."

"You slept with him when he was with me, so your intentions were very clear in hurting me."

They both sat quietly.

"At least I didn't sleep with your best friend."

She stated getting up from the table. Safaree let Akinu down and he wabbled behind her up the stairs. The room was quiet.

"Faree.."

"Candi just eat. I really don't got nothing to say... Nah, I do. You trifling yo and that's crazy. You even had him come back to her, to make it not obvious. That's fake, bro."

He got up and followed behind Nicki. The dinner was quiet and sour as everyone still seated at the table ate in silence.
